We want to create long-lasting relationships between our shoes and their owners. An important element is to take extra care of your shoes by cleaning, protecting, and carefully maintaining them. Before using the shoes for the first time, we recommend spraying your leather shoes with a weatherproof coating to prevent water and weather damage.

Do insert a thin insole in your outdoor footwear to give extra protection to the inside. We also recommend that you remember to let your shoes breathe and dry between uses. Never use heat to dry your shoes. Always air dry at room temperature. If shoes are very damp, then stuffing with newspapers will aid in the drying process and help them keep their shape.

By looking after your shoes, you can spare the environment from any unnecessary impact. Try to take care of your shoes carefully during use, and wear the shoes in weather conditions suitable for the material. Always follow the care instructions for the material to keep the product’s lifespan as long as possible. Finally, you make a big difference if you allow the shoes to dry and rest after use. Embrace the natural signs of use and aging – that’s why the shoes were made; to be used and loved!

Like your own skin, leather shoes will stay looking great when regularly cleaned and moisturized. Conditioning your leather shoes will help soften and moisturize the leather and protect it from drying out and cracking. Leather will evolve with daily use, developing a patina, depending on how you wear the shoes. Give them love and make memories.

First, make sure that your shoes are dry before removing dust or dirt with a shoe brush. If the dirt persists, cleanse the leather by wiping the area in question with a cloth dipped in soap and water.

Use a conditioner that is absorbed into the material of the shoe. After a couple of minutes, wipe any remaining conditioner off, as the leather will only absorb what it can. Apply a thin layer of neutral or color-matched leather cream using a soft horsehair brush or soft cloth in a circular motion. After the leather cream is dry, shine your shoes by buffing them with a soft cloth or brush made specifically for shoe-shining.

The weather is not always sunny, so a good base for moisture and water is required. Spray, dry, and then repeat so that you can enjoy them for the years to come!

Patent leather behaves differently from regular leather and should be treated accordingly. Start by wiping the shoe with a damp cloth to remove the loose dirt on the material. Then apply a layer of patent leather lotion on the entire shoe, and let it dry for 3-5 minutes. Once it has dried, wipe the shoes until you get back the perfect shine.

Starting to remove the dirt from your shoes, use either a suede brush or a block to erase the dirt or stains. Alternatively, you can use a selection of suede detergent to wash away the dirt. The next step is to moisturize the suede so that the color is restored. When the suede is dry again, spray an even layer of impregnating/water-proofing spray on the shoes.

Brush your shoes gently, and use, if needed, a cleaning foam designed for textile for a more in-depth cleanse. We do not suggest running our textile shoes in the washing machine. Do spray a thin layer with impregnating spray and let dry.

Our shoes are handcrafted from quality materials. Each piece is unique, and therefore the shoes can include variations in color, texture, and markings. We embrace leather imperfections, whether inherent or created by daily wear. They are part of what makes you and your shoes special.
